Website Redesign. Technology Used: HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Actionscript 3.0, Adobe Flash and CMS integration.

In November of 2009, I was hired by the Palmer Seminary of Eastern University to redesign their website. I had designed their former website in 2004. It was about 3 years old at that point, and they were looking to refresh the design and move it from Microsoft Front Page into a proprietary software CMS. Go to website.

Design and Co-develop. Technology used: HTML, CSS, Javascript, Actionscript 2.0, Adobe Flash, Flash Media Server, PHP and mySQL.

In 2009, I designed and co-developed EU Media, an online video repository for Eastern University videos. I designed the template with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Flash. A colleague of mine developed the site, making it functional with the database, using PHP and mySQL.

We worked on this project as a side project for months. We were tasked with providing a multimedia solution for Eastern content. Our goal was to not replace the use of other video hosting solutions such as YouTube or Vimeo, but to control the content. We had found that several users who had accounts with other hosting solutions had either discontinued their account or removed content that served the University some marketing value. Within one year of our deployment date, we had over 650 videos uploaded to EU Media. Go to website.

Esperanza CollegeCo-design and development. Technology used: HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Actionscript 3.0, Adobe Flash, and CMS implementation.

In January of 2010, I was hired by the Esperanza College to bring their website initiative in alignment with Eastern University. I worked alongside Esperanza’s marketing director and Swinghouse Design in developing a template for their new website initiative. The template was given similar features of Eastern homepage. We added a global navigation in the masthead, an Adobe Flash movie and a side navigation. Go to website.

In 2009, I was tasked with developing an interactive campus map. I wanted to make it interesting aside from basic interactive maps. I had a lot of fun with this project. Hover over the athletic fields for a giggle. Go to map.
