In 2009, I designed and co-developed EU Media, an online video repository for Eastern University videos. I designed the template with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Flash. A colleague of mine developed the site, making it functional with the database, using PHP and mySQL.
We worked on this project as a side project for months. We were tasked with providing a multimedia solution for Eastern content. Our goal was to not replace the use of other video hosting solutions such as YouTube or Vimeo, but to control the content. We had found that several users who had accounts with other hosting solutions had either discontinued their account or removed content that served the University some marketing value.
